Monica J. Ulrich - Sobek

Monica Julie Ulrich was born into an average family, lived an average life, with average grades and average friends, until she graduated somewhere in the middle of her class and went out to get an average job in an average part of the city.

Working as a laundry attendant in her neighborhood, Monica envied all of those that she met with above-average lives. She was a people-watcher, who loved to study strangers and their actions, and had quite a fascination with human nature.

She met her father, the Egyptian god Sobek, fleetingly and indiscreetly, during a less-than-legal transaction at work, where she was asked to pass along an unmarked envelope via laundry. She was given her Birthrights not personally, but in a PO box. And yet, she doesn't mind, for now her live is far from average, and she is loving every second of it.

Monica is a tall, lanky girl who doesn't appear very strong until she lifts 50-lb. bags of laundry, two at a time, and carries them around on her shoulders like nothing. She has moved on to own her own laundromat, which acts as a hub for Legend, and is something of a meeting and mingling place for Scions of all types from all over the world. Though she has never been a part of any Band, many Bands consider her a member by proxy just for being the catalyst that brought them together; as many Bands are indeed formed in her laundromat.

Monica met Damon Winehouse when he first moved to Manhattan, when he discovered that his apartment had no washer or dryer and was forced to use her facility. She has promised him, in no exaggerated terms, that she would break his arms if he ever so much as imagined hitting any of her machines ever again.

Despite her surly appearance, Monica is actually a very nice young lady who loves human company and is very accommodating. She is still a people-watcher at heart, and uses her store to her advantage.
